ICC’s third global debate took place in The Hague, Netherlands on March 14, 2016. The debate saw dynamic discussions on the current state of the global economy, the current geo-political risk profile and the future of international trade.

Daniel Cotti – Chairman of Bolero, was participating in the debate and addressing the audience about the impact of the digital economy on trade.

He outlined that the commercial contract settlement cycle is complex and that in the digital trade world, it is all about trigger points, e-alerts and connecting all parties electronically with interoperable protocols allowing seamless exchange of data to settle the commercial contract.

He further mentioned that Bolero is well positioned to create a trusted digital eco-system that connects Buyers, Sellers, Service Providers, Financiers, Credit Underwriters and Payment Providers & Networks to drive the commercial contract settlement process end-to-end.
